Italian dark chocolate will take part in one of the most important and prestigious events of 2007: the Ceremony for the assignment of the Peace Nobel Prize 2007.

This special party, with celebrities from all over the world, will be enriched by the excellence and the taste of Venchi Chocolate.

On December 11th in Oslo, the former USA vice President Al Gore together with the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, will receive the Nobel Peace Prize from the Chairman of the Norwegian Nobel Committee in the presence of King Harald V of Norway.

The Nobel Committee has chosen them "for their efforts to build up and disseminate greater knowledge about man-made climate changes, and to lay the foundations for the measures that are needed to counteract such changes".

On that occasion, after the official Ceremony, the annual Nobel Peace Prize concert, broadcasted in more than 100 countries worldwide, will be co-hosted by Uma Thurman and Tommy Lee Jones and will see the performances on stage of international artists, such as Alicia Keys and Annie Lennox and, for his tireless work campaigning against poverty and raising awareness of AIDS and HIV in Africa, most probably also Bono Vox.

After the concert, the Radisson Hotel in Oslo has organized a banquet for the winners and the celebrities: as dessert they have chosen to offer Venchi Pralines. So, cubotto chocaviar, cubigusto cremino and the Piedmont cocoa truffle will help to make special this moment of joy.
